About this puzzle
Also known as picross or griddlers. Each row and column has a set of numbers telling you how many consecutive cells to fill in, and in what order, along that line. Fill in the grid using only those clues, and a simple picture is revealed once you've got it right. A new picture is picked each day.
Frequently asked questions
- How do the clues work?
- Each number in a row or column's clue is a run of consecutive filled cells, in order, with at least one empty cell between runs. For example, a clue of "3 2" means a run of 3 filled cells, then a gap, then a run of 2, somewhere along that line.
- What does tapping a cell do?
- Tapping cycles a cell between empty, filled, and a small × mark you can use to note cells you've figured out are definitely empty, purely as a solving aid.
