About Fun Puzzles

Fun Puzzles is a small collection of daily browser-based puzzles, Sudoku, Word Search, Word Guess, Minesweeper, 2048, and Nonogram, built and maintained by Joe Koppin, a software engineer. It started from wanting a quick daily puzzle break without creating an account, waiting on ad-choked pages to load, or being nagged to sign up for something.

Every puzzle here is generated and solved entirely client-side. No accounts, no backend tracking your moves, no database. That’s not a marketing claim, it’s a consequence of what this site actually is: a static export with no server-side application logic at all. Your progress on today’s puzzle is saved in your own browser and goes nowhere else. See the Privacy Policy for the specifics.

Beyond the puzzles themselves, the Guides section covers the strategy behind each one in more depth: how to spot a naked pair in Sudoku, the two deduction rules that clear a Minesweeper board without guessing, why the overlap technique works in Nonograms, that kind of thing, for when you want to get better rather than just play another round.

Fun Puzzles is part of the Ten Eleven family of free, no-signup web tools and games. The site is free to use and ad-supported. If you enjoy the puzzles, a coffee is always appreciated but never required. Questions, bug reports, or a puzzle you’d like to see added can go to privacy@funpuzzlesonline.com.
